Office-1-after

Do you feel motivated after spring cleaning? This is because you change the energy flow in your space which in turn energizes you. Having a good energy flow in your home office can often bring increase in productivity and inspiration.

Want to give it a try and don’t know where to start?  This blog is for you!

CLUTTER

Problem:
Physical clutter often leads to mental clutter and in turn drains your energy. We all know that when our energy is low our productivity suffers.

Solution:
Keeping your office simple, organized and uncluttered, will facilitate a better flow of energy and will help to keep you focused.

WORKSPACE

To help inspire creativity and clarity, bring items that exudes positive energy for you to your office.  Place a beautiful painting across from your desk or move your desk by the window may do the trick.  Also, adding a plant in the room will soften the edges of a desk or filing cabinet, and create a different energy flow.

COLOUR

A new coat of paint is the easiest way to change the ambiance in your home office.  Add an accent colour that brings some fun in the room.  If you are a writer, you may want to choose a colour that evokes creativity.  If your work is extremely stressful, then a more calming shade may work best.

AIR QUALITY AND LIGHTING

Having good air quality and proper lighting will convey a positive energy flowing freely in your space.  Simple adjustments such as moving the light source from one side of your desk to the other or changing the location of your desk can make a drastic difference.

DÉCOR

Spruce up your home office with furniture and décor that inspire you.  Include accent pieces that speak to you.  Try personalizing the room with family photos to create a sense of positivity and abundance.

There is no one-size-fits-all method to energize your home office.  It is about how you feel while you are in it.  The key is to ensure that the room is exuberating the right energy for you and it is helping you complete your work.
